Your local One Stop Office, is equipped to
provide a variety of services to help you transition to your new
career. If you do not know where your One Stop Office is
located, we can help you find it. Note that while each office
has a different process, in general, you will
go through the following steps:
1. You will have to
register yourself first and provide identification.
2. After you register,
the One Stop Office will tell you the process to
determine your eligibility. After your eligibility
is determined, they will discuss the training options available
to you. Since each office's funding levels and priorities vary,
training options vary from one office to the next.
3. You may be asked to
attend an orientation and take a skills assessment test. Depending on your
situation, your Counselor may suggest "Core
Services", comprised of job search and interview skills.
You may need to inform your Counselor that while the Core
Services are important, you also need new IT skills from
the training.
4. Download the IT
Training flyer by clicking here.
Identify the course(s) you wish to take from the list.
5. If you are approved
for training, ask your Counselor to look up the course in the ETPL, under “National
University".
6. Contact National
University or your Saisoft representative to enroll in the course.
7. Take the course, get
new skills and get the job you're looking for!
